Disagreement and criticism are welcome; threats, harassment, discriminatory abuse, intimidation, doxxing and incitement to violence are not. Evaluate claims on evidence rather than identity. Do not imply that every participant endorses every proposal.
02Confidentiality and minimum access
Use records only for assigned tasks. Do not copy member lists, share credentials, move restricted material to personal cloud accounts or upload personal/confidential research to outside AI services without authorization and an appropriate privacy assessment. Report accidental exposure promptly through the privacy request route without reproducing the exposed records.
03Volunteer roles and conflicts
A volunteer application does not create employment, legal agency or authority to incur expenses. Agree role scope, supervision, training and any expense authorization before starting. Disclose relevant personal, political and financial interests. Step away from a matter where impartial review is compromised.
04Reporting and fair response
Use the contact form for conduct concerns and give specific facts and dates. A good-faith report should not trigger retaliation. Confidentiality is limited by the need to investigate fairly and comply with law; anonymity cannot be promised. Protective restrictions, reasons and independent review should be proportionate to the concern.
