The supplied registration records a business-name registration from April 23, 2025 to April 22, 2030. The website has also used the spelling 'Defense'; the registered name uses 'Defence'.
02Organization and initiatives
CDDA operates as an independent civil society organization through that corporation. My Canadian Freedom, the Canadian Citizens Congress, the research program and proposed referendum commission are initiatives, not separate legal entities merely because they have a name. No assertion of charitable registration, government appointment or statutory authority is made here.
03Participation is not share ownership
Civic membership does not issue corporate shares or itself change directors, shareholder rights or corporate decision-making powers. One-member-one-vote is the intended civic participation principle. Binding internal authority depends on validly adopted rules and the corporation's legal obligations. The proposed representative model is not evidence that a member-elected board is already in office.
04Public authority and legal services
Congress recommendations and private consultations do not enact laws or replace Parliament, legislatures, courts or official election bodies. Research submissions do not retain a lawyer, start a proceeding or stop a limitation period. No lawyer-client relationship arises from visiting or applying. Any legal representation requires a separate agreement with authorized counsel.
