Contributions, refunds & cancellation

01No online payment collection

The current application does not collect payment or card details. Contribution controls are previews. Advertised membership prices are proposed Canadian-dollar amounts, not an active recurring-payment agreement. Applying does not authorize a charge. Do not send bank or card details through any public form.

02Before collection begins

Payment activation requires an approved organizational account, processor, clear total price and applicable taxes, billing interval, renewal terms, cancellation method and published refund rules. Obtain explicit authorization for recurring charges. A separate contribution does not create membership or extra voting power.

03Cancellation and refunds

The proposed policy permits cancellation of future recurring charges and review of duplicate, mistaken or unauthorized payments. Final deadlines, eligibility and any prorating must be disclosed before checkout; no 'all sales final' rule is adopted here. Mandatory consumer remedies remain available. No payment was made through the current application, so it cannot issue a transaction refund.

04Receipts and financial reporting

Contributions through this initiative are not offered as tax-receiptable charitable gifts. An ordinary payment acknowledgment is different from an official charitable donation receipt. Proposed public financial summaries should report aggregate income, expenditure and restrictions without disclosing donor identities unnecessarily.
